Loading Human: Chapter One

"Loading Human" is an episodic VR adventure game built with Unreal Engine 4.

​

It follows the story of Prometheus, the son of a renowned dying scientist who is going to task him with an interstellar mission to prevent his death.

​

I worked mainly as a programmer on interactions and gameplay.

Adaptation

Adaptation is a SOMA Mod with an unique design, an original story, characters and challenges.
I made the mod by myself, including design and dubbing. Most models come from the original game, and sounds come from royalty free dowload websites.

The mod is still in development as i'm planning to add new locations and events.

Opaque Dream (Razer Hydra + Oculus Rift)

"Opaque Dream" is an atmospheric first person puzzle game developed as my university third year final project.


The game is set in the dreams of the main character, a very stressed and lonely person;
Each dream represents one of his greatest fears.

The player can control the character's hands directly by moving the Razer Hydras, all objects can be grabbed and most are interactive.

Setting the game in dreams allows the level design and puzzles to be free from some usual limits.

 

The game has been developed in Unreal Engine 4.
Everything in the game has been created by me, except for music, textures and a few 3D assets.
It currently has two levels, but the rest of the game and events have already been written, and a good framework for level design has been created.

Razer Hydra + Oculus Rift Drums Virtual Simulator

Starting from Opaque Dream source code, just by using the "Sound Engine" i developed, i have created a very simple Drums Simulation that can be played with the Razer Hydra.

Razer Hydra + Oculus Rift Facebook Virtual Realtiy

Starting from Opaque Dream source code, i created a very small demo of what Facebook could be in virtual reality. This is a Pervasive Computing project, and it is still in the first hours of development.
What you see in the video does not resemble what the final version will look like.

Light2Live

"Light 2 Live" is a puzzle game developed by me and my team in around 20 days.
It was our first year's university final project.

It is a Windows Puzzle-Platform noire game about an investigator trapped in a mysterious house.The primary idea under this game is to let light's colors change the world around You.You have 4 colors for your torch, by switching from one to another, You will see the world under a different perspective and make your way out of this.

The team was composed of 3 people, plus an graphic artist and a sound designer.

I have done the whole level design (3 levels), half of game design and 1/3 of programming.
On the programmation side I have worked mostly on collision, gravity, sounds, movements, animations and imputs. Plus many other things.

Not Evil Twins Rituals Shop

A very odd game that came out of a jam where "Ritual" was the theme.
In the game you play as two identical twins who have a shop of fake ritual.
They make money by tricking naive people into buying their rituals,

they will then enact the fake ritual in the house of the scam victim.

In the level we built, the evil twins brought a cat of an old lady back from life,

but what they actually did is just buy a similar one.
The game consists in coordinating the actions of the two twins to enact the ritual correctly and do not spoil the scam.

 

I was the designer and programmer.

Pichionopolis

 "Pichionopolis" is a 2D Mayor Simulation Game which was developed by me and my team in at 2014 Cambridge Brains Eden Jam in 2 days.

This game is really fun and innovative, just wait for it to come out anytime soon. the game is ready and finished.

The team was composed of 5 people, 2 Programmers, 2 Artists and a sound Designer.
The game was built using Unity.

The graphic of the game is really
artsy and good looking, it's been hand drawn in 2D and then scanned and edited by the Digital Artist.

Your objective in the game is to deceive the people of your city with random talking,
enchant them with promises you will never keep and to balance left and right.
Citizens will also interact and speak to each others.
The Game World is pretty Alive.

 

Runner Late

In Runner Late (an endless runner) you are a guy trying to make it to work in time in the chaos of London rush hours.
Since it's extremely cold, you also need to buy drinks and clothes from time to time to avoid freezing.

3DS Max Projects

These are some scenes with advanced lighting and materials I built with 3DS Max and Photoshop.

I work for a cable company

You work for a cable company. You must connect your cable to the central socket so your company can transmit before the competition does. Avoid the enemies and asteroids as you complete your mission in both Earth and space modes.

G4

"G4" is a platform game set in space, it's a game of gravity so particular attention was given to physic and movements.
The character is based on mario but the game really doesn't want to be a mario game.
It has been created as my second year of university final project.

Colours Suicide Carnage

Colours Suicide Carnage is an original game design i made and i'm currently planning to develop it.
It is a Run and Gun Puzzle Game with inverted shooting mechanics,
You basically need to try to be hit by bullets to survive or avoid medicine projectiles.
I can share the complete Design Documents upon request.

Original UDK Game

This is a game I built in 3 days with Unreal Engine 3.
It's set in Egypt. I created most of the Textures myself.
Your purpose is to steal 4 "sacred" golden objects.
Most of the meshes in the game are made by me with 3DS MAX.

A House Day

A House Day is a C++ Direct3D 9 Short Graphic Adventure VideoGame.
It has been built completely from scratch in 5 days. There are various interaction and objects in the game world and a small story, i'm currently planning to expand it.
It features:
--All the standard FPS movement (WASD, Crouch, Jump...)--

--Gravity, Picking and Collisions--

--A Complete house in 3D (Mostly 3DS Max)--

--Pause, Reload Function and DebugMode.--

Untitled 2D TopDown Shooter

I made this 2D project in DirectX from scratch as a coursework.
The main features of the game are:
Artificial Intelligence
Path Finding (A* and Dijkstras)

Different Finite State Enemies

Levels, Tiles and Enemies Randomization

Saving and Loading Levels and Game States in a SaveFile.

Debug View to help developing AI and Path Finding

 

The Gameplay was not my focus so the game is not particularly fun to play.
